This project was part of an overall masterplan for the site, which includes a new sports complex, trade skills centre and convention centre. JDH Architects reimagined the existing facility with a refurbishment and contemporary but functional facelift, ready to bring a real theatre experience to young performers.. JDH Architects worked closely with a theatre design consultant and an acoustic engineer to ensure the highest standards of quality for the theatre venues. In the design process JDH focused on the upgrade of the existing auditorium, provision of new performance spaces and connectivity of the facilities within the backstage area.
