St. Francis Catholic College
JDH took on the task of creating a unified K-12 campus with high-quality, innovative classrooms for future learning. The college is being constructed in phases and currently features advanced facilities in Science, Creative and Performing Arts, and PDHPE. The school will eventually serve up to 1,700 students. Designed to be welcoming, inclusive, and environmentally friendly, the college reflects the values of St. Francis, the Patron Saint of Ecology. This project highlights the successful teamwork among various stakeholders, including the Education Consortium of the Catholic Education Office of Wollongong, Edmund Rice Education Australia, local neighbors, property developers, and Urban Growth. Their collaboration has led to a unique school concept where the new learning spaces blend with nature and the community, serving as a tool for shared learning.
