This project included two stages: the refurbishment of the BER hall, and the construction of a new multipurpose hall with an adjoining meeting room, school canteen and an afterschool care area. St Christopher’s CPS is a three-stream school. SCS approached JDH to undertake a masterplan review of the site and to provide possible areas of improvement. Three key areas were detected; the undersized BER hall, the lack of suitable kindergarten facilities, and a possible upgrade of the year group which are organised as clusters of three. The first two areas were then approved to be addressed in a stage project.
