This project aimed to design a community space for modern learners through workshops with the entire school. The result is a flexible and engaging learning area for St Patrick’s Parish Catholic Primary School in Port Kembla. The building accommodates all seven year groups and was created within a limited budget, becoming a lively learning center. It has a straightforward design with transparent walls for better visibility and interaction, as well as spaces for displays, technology, and study. Each classroom includes nearby breakout areas for easy supervision and features flexible furniture chosen with student input to promote collaboration and socializing.
