We are also excited to announce that Daniel Butterick, Director of Cost Advisory at RPS and a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, will be taking charge of Station 4, focusing on "Cost Planning and Control: Effective Cost Management Techniques throughout the Project Lifecycle."
With his extensive experience in both the United Kingdom and Australia, spanning various sectors, Daniel is well-versed in cost and value management for complex infrastructure projects. Having successfully delivered education projects exceeding $1 billion, his expertise and insights are invaluable in ensuring optimal cost efficiency.
During his talk, Daniel will share his practical knowledge and strategies for cost planning and control, shedding light on the best practices to implement throughout the project lifecycle. Attendees will gain valuable insights into effective cost management techniques, enabling them to enhance project performance and maximize value for money.

MEET THE EXPERTS
Meet Stephen Earp
With broad planning experience but a specialisation in the education sector, Stephen Earp has led and advised on projects in both the public and private school sectors from planning approvals strategies, small scope upgrades through to complex, multi-campus State Significant Development approvals. Stephen has worked extensively with school operators, government and stakeholders in relation to planning for schools for over 15 years, and provides advice to organisations such as the Association of Independent Schools, Catholic Schools NSW, Anglican Schools Corporation and School Infrastructure NSW, together with a wide range of independent schools. Stephen is Head of Planning at EPM Projects.
Meet Brian Maguire
Brian is an Accredited Building Surveyor and has 20 years experience in the Building Code and Town Planning fields within the construction industry, in both Local Government and also the private sector. Brian’s extensive knowledge of the statutory regulation requirements for development within NSW ensures the client is afforded with superior guidance in building regulation matters, fire and life safety assessment and also urban planning.
Brian has been the accredited certifier/project team leader for several large development projects throughout the state including various refurbishments of existing buildings, large scale public buildings and refurbishments of metropolitan Public Schools and Systemic Catholic Schools.
